Recognizing the important role of charity in the holy month of Ramadan, Ambassador Folmsbee officially launched the American Embassy’s annual donation of rice and sugar to local mosques and charitable organizations during a visit to the High Islamic Council of Mali in Bamako. Ambassador Folmsbee met with the President of the Executive Board to present his wishes for a peaceful and blessed Ramadan to all Muslims in Mali.
