The movement “Yerewolo Standing on the Ramparts” is planning a peaceful demonstration about MINUSMA on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 14:00 at the Palais de la Culture.
Avoid driving in the vicinity of the Palais de la Culture and the second bridge, as the demonstration may have a significant impact on traffic.
Large gatherings and demonstrations sometimes turn confrontational and can escalate into violence, resulting in the burning of tires, clashes with the police, blockage on the roads and bridges, throwing of rocks at vehicles, and the deployment of tear gas.
