U.S. Supports Malian Law Enforcement Professionals to Combat Small Arms Trafficking

The U.S. Embassy’s Office for International Narcotics & Law Enforcement (INL) sponsored a delegation from Mali to attend a Small Arms Trafficking course from January 13 to January 17, 2020, at the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) West Africa Regional Training Center (RTC) in Accra, Ghana. The class was put on by Special Agents of the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives International Affairs Division in the United States. The Malian delegation joined other delegates from West Africa for this week-long training that will assist them in devising anti- trafficking strategies in their respective jurisdictions.
