Malian Law Enforcement Participate in U.S-sponsored Training in Accra, Ghana

Malian law enforcement officers participated in a computer and electronic crimes investigations training at the Regional Training Center for West Africa in Accra, Ghana from December 2-6, 2019.

During the week-long training, participants learned the fundamentals of computer hardware, networks, hacking techniques, information security, Internet resources, and electronic evidence handling to prepare them to act as first responders for a variety of electronic and cyber-crime investigations. The training also included a presentation of technology, tools, and equipment available in the law enforcement arena.

The training was sponsored by the United States Embassy in Mali, through the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement of the United States Department of State.
